Winter Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule

With the holiday season coming up, we’d like to remind you all of the upcoming collection schedule as well as inclement weather policies. Our trash and recycling pickups are handled by American Disposal Services.

Holiday Schedule for 2015

Thanksgiving Day

NO Trash or Recycling pickups on Thanksgiving day. Makeup for RECYCLING ONLY will be on Saturday November 28th.

Christmas Eve

Trash or Recycling pickups continue as normal. Please have items curbside the night before to ensure collection

New Year’s Eve

Trash or Recycling pickups continue as normal. Please have items curbside the night before to ensure collection

Yard Debris Collection

Yard Debris collection ends December 24th. Grass clipping and leaves are to be placed out in clear plastic bags or brown paper bags. Personal containers may be used however they need to be clearly marked “yard debris.” Tree limbs and brush must be no longer than 4 feet in length and 6 inches thick in diameter. These items must be tied with rope or twine in arm length bundles. Items that are bagged or bundled are not to exceed 50 lbs. Christmas Tree Collection

Christmas tree pick up will be provided on January 6th and January 13th. However, yard debris season officially ends December 24th. If you have yard debris to be collected after this date, place your items curbside on your 2nd collection day of the week until the season resumes the 1st week of March.

Inclement Weather

Roads and/or areas which are deemed unsafe due to snow or ice will be suspended for collection. If suspension occurs, services will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day. For the latest announcements on weather-related updates check American Disposal’s website.
